KLJ COACHING.

I have been coached for the whole of September and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Keenan was professional throughout my programme & very understanding with regards to my family & work commitments as he planned training sessions that were easily manageable around these.

I found him to be easily approachable and happy to give up his time to explain sessions more in depth. Suddenly I found myself really enjoying exercise which is something I wouldn’t of said 5 months ago & I put this down to the sessions Keenan planned out. I was always of the understanding that if you wanted to get fit running, you just ran & ran. If you wanted to improve your swim, you bashed out hundreds of lengths.

What this programme has shown me is that the above is not necessarily true and there are lots of different drills you can work on to improve you.

The sessions were tough but I loved the variety - My efforts were rewarded in my race times when competing in triathlons and most recently a half marathon.

The studio is amazing. Fantastic facility, top notch equipment and a great environment. Outstanding service with a very friendly coach! Keenan makes you feel at ease and would say he is the perfect coach, whether you’re a beginner or professional athlete. Just finished a 6 week block nutrition and training plan with my wife. After she hadn’t trained for nearly four years, she’s now well and truly hooked, thanks to Keenan’s coaching.

This place even has its own crèche Well our little one comes into the studio and sits at the side, shouting at us, alongside Keenan, go on more Burpees!!

KLJ Coaching comes highly recommended from myself.... Keenan has managed to take 3 middle aged wannabe Triathletes who could hardly swim just a few weeks ago, too swimming well over a 1000 metres every time we jump in the pool.

Great instructor .... knows all the drills ... and most importantly managed to keep us interested.

It was Ewan's last session last night of his 8 week block. As a result of working with Keenan his strength, mindset, attitude and fitness has drastically improved and the main thing is that his rugby has improved which is why we started this journey in the first place.

We approached Keenan wanting to work on Ewan's fitness to be more mobile around the field and put himself in positions to use his natural strength.

Keenan knows how to get the best out of a session and with a range of exercises keeps it interesting. Ewan genuinely looks forward to each session and as a result really puts the work in.

On that note we are continuing our journey and signed up for another 8 week block.

Well 6 weeks has passed, my time with KLJ Coaching has come to an end. Well, that is until I sign up again. I’ve always seen other people getting personal trainers and thought I’d wasn’t for me, however, I thought I’d give Keenan a go as he coaches in the disciplines I’m training for, triathlons etc. I cannot recommend him enough, I am lighter (lost 19kg, lightest I’ve been in 20yrs) stronger, (I done 150 burpees this morning, when I couldn’t do 10) and much fitter (can run at max pace on the treadmill). Keenan is a professional who pushes you to your limits without breaking you, he gets to know your strengths and weaknesses and helps develop you. Not once have I woke up in pain, or stiff, this is due to the way the exercises build up, it’s not just printed off the internet, it’s tailored to you. I cannot thank Keenan enough, I feel great and will be signing up for more. Top man!! THE BEST around.

I have been working with KLJ coaching for a while now, Keenan first helped me to get into running, I started training in the May and 4 month's later I did my first half marathon.
I am now doing the shred programme and loving it.
Keenan is fab, he pushes me, no session is "easy" but Keenan is very encouraging and with me every step of the way. I can also contact Keenan outside of my sessions and he is always willing to offer his expert advice.
From someone like me, no fitness, overweight, lack in confidence, I am now loving exercise, and this is 99% done to KLJ coaching, the other 1% is down to me jumping out of bed early in the morning for my session.
Keenan defo knows his stuff, he is professional and approachable.

You may be reading this review thinking is KLJ Coaching suited for me? GO FOR IT! I paid over 4k last year on various PT in and around merthyr who were only grabbing my money and Never cared till I spoke to keenan. he is is the trainer I have ever seen that will keep in contact, motivate you and set you challenges every week to keep interested. He has done that well of a job, you can see why he's 5 star rated.

Just started my fitness journey, really enjoyed being back at the gym. Keenan has a great attitude he is very friendly and knowledgeable I can tell he can help and push me to get the results I want and achieve my goals without any doubt in my mind he will get me where I want to be.

Throughly enjoyed the work outs and atmosphere he always mixing it up keeps it fun and wanting me to come back. I would highly recommend getting in touch and having PT sessions with him. you won't regret it!

I was very apprehensive at having a personal trainer, as this is well out of my comfort zone and am very unfit after having a baby. But I was made to feel at ease from the moment I started the training sessions and I can feel my confidence coming back . I already feel so much better about myself and this has also had such a positive attitude on my mental health. Keenan has been amazing he is so enthusiastic , friendly with such an amazing positive attitude and will push you which is something I wouldn’t do myself .

Where to start? Keenan is a fantastic PT and has motivated me so much over our first block of sessions.

He does not realise how much his self determination motivates others.

He has made me feel more confident in using the gym and allowed me to believe in myself more.

I am looking forward to visiting hell with him on the second block and to importantly seeing what I can achieve with his encouragement

If anyone is reading this and thinking of giving Keenan a go as a PT, do not hesitate as it will be one decision you will not regret.

I started training with Keenan about 2 weeks ago had a block of 10 sessions and im 6 sessions in now. I genuinly look forward to each session and have come a long way since my first one. Keenan is very professional and easy to get along with. Definitely gives me the push to keep going when I feel like i cant! Thank you so much! Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

arguably one of the best coaches around! in my opinion keenan wins that hands down. I went with Keenan for a month to try and improve my running and help get my fitness up a bit better so I could move on from half marathons to full marathons, and needless to say, I seen progress within myself within the first week! He set out an easy to follow plan, and the fact he always messaged to ask how you got on after you did it is also a fantastic touch! will be coming back as soon as my finances are in better shape!

Just completed a 30 day weight loss challenge with Keenan. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to kick start their weight loss journey. I have finished 1st 4lb lighter, a lot fitter and with the motivation and knowledge to continue dropping the pounds. Thank you once again for giving me the kick I needed!
