About Me

Beauty doing Good

Melody of the Mind CIC is a brand new company set up to do good with beautiful creations. Starting small, we want to make an impact, and to help others do the same. We offer the services of our Creative Director, Nathanael Lewis. He is a published author, theologian, poet, composer and songwriter, as well as a gifted improvisational pianist, playing chilled out classical jazz crossover that has won high praise for its flowing serene beauty. Available to both play and speak, Nathanael has leveraged his autism to gain a high degree of knowledge in multiple fields in theology, including ancient history, the family of Jesus in the early church, Christianity's Jewish roots, the bible and science, the persecution of Christians in Pakistan, and of 'apoststes' in the UK, and much more.

Purposes and Vision

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a not for profit company set up to further particular social causes, with most profits and all assets legally restricted to those causes specified in the companies founding Articles of Association. Melody of the Mind was set up to help the church and the Christian faith in several ways. The first is in putting on events and creating products that are educational, intellectual or artistic in nature. The second is to encourage cross discipline collaboration amongst Christian creative people. Profits will go towards these aims, plus these further ones as and when excess profits become available: to fund research in relevant areas, and to support vulnerable Christians, particularly converts from other religions, and those who have suffered pastoral abuse in the church.

Where we are now

We've just started up, finding our feet, working out what works for us, and for you. So why not drop us a line, make that connection, see what we can do. Although we can go to anywhere in the UK to do live events, logistics and other issues currently mean that we are more interested in working in the North East region, and particularly in Tyne and Wear, Durham city and in the Tyne Valley up to Hexham. Event requests from further afield are currently more likely to be taken on if they are weekend events, and also if they are in the following areas: North Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Rugby, Southampton, Uckfield, South Holland and Kings Lynn / Downham Market.
