Hello, my name is Viola.
I am Polish, but since I am a wonderer, I have spent most of my life outside of my country.
As a journalist (by profession) I have spent 14 years in New York, the place I can call heaven .
I lived there from 1991 till 2006, and never expected, that in - NEW YORK- I would undergo a huge lifestyle change, from working as a journalist, to become a person obsessed with cooking.
Living in New York was the best lesson for me, a young Polish woman, to not only improve my professional skills as a journalist but also to discover the culinary wonders of that amazing city.
The inspiration for my homemade dishes I take from my grandma’s recipes, but unfortunately, I couldn’t call them healthy food, today. That’s why I decided to change them into much healthier alternatives.
Now living in London since 2013, I still create great food for local shops and private customers. I strongly believe in using local and seasonal products for my recipes, that’s why I organize trips to the "Pick Your Own" farms and collect the fruit and vegetables from there myself.
In my own kitchen, I create special menus of homemade dishes for all occasions.
You can order lunch, dinner, snacks, kids dishes.
My dumplings have been recognized by Barbara Gallani (food expert and writer) as the best in East Finchley.
I am sure that my global dishes will be a match for your special parties, events, as well as for a romantic dinner for two.
My menus include Polish, Russian, Croatian, French, Middle Eastern, Indian and Thai cuisines, to name a few.
I can say, without a doubt, that the food my family and I eat at our home, or the food I make for my customers is a reflection of my experience traveling across the globe. Many recipes come also from my son’s father (a New Zealander), who always inspired me with so many new ideas for cooking and experimenting in my kitchen.
