Our goal is to grow fresh produce using organic practices for our community. We strive to grow rare fruits and vegetables and find verities that can’t be found in the grocery store. Our passion is growing Moringa, One of the most nutritious foods on the planet! Check back often to see what’s in season. Visit us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/jonescreekmidway. Our Goals for 2020

We have big plans for our small family farm. We are currently clearing trees to make room for a big blueberry field. We hope to plant an acre of blueberries in 2020. We also plan to grow our Moringa production. Currently, we have 75 Moringa trees and plan to grow that number to 500 trees. We love Moringa and can’t wait to be able to offer more of it to our community. There are more garden beds planned as well as a new farm stand and greenhouse. We are very excited to see how it turns out.

What is Moringa?

Moringa is a tropical tree that is so nutrient dense that it’s the super food of all super foods! We have worked hard at learning to grow this tropical plant here in Georgia and we are proud to be able to offer fresh Moringa to our customers. The leaves of Moringa contain 46 antioxidants and 92 nutrients. A serving of 100 grams of leaves contain over 8g of protein, 400mg of potassium, 45mg of calcium, 164mg of Vitamin C, and 738g of Vitamin A. That means Moringa has more Potassium than Bananas, more Vitamin C than Oranges, and has more calcium than milk! We currently only offer Moringa fresh but soon we hope to be able to offer it dried and powdered as well.
