Creating a digital presence for your business may seem like a daunting task. But it’s absolutely essential for your success. Here are five reasons why you need a small business website:

1. Most people go online to make purchases

More and more customers buy goods and services online each year. And, as global Internet access increase, this trend is only accelerating.

From 2005 to 2017, the worldwide number of people with internet access rose from roughly 1 billion to well over 3 billion.

Moreover, in the United Kingdom, 89 percent of adults have used the Internet recently, and 87 percent have made a purchase online in the last year.

2. New customers won’t find you without a website for your small business

In the UK, nearly half of consumers research local businesses exclusively online. Only 2 percent report not using the Internet at all for this purpose.

If you hope to get new customers through the door, a website is crucial. Without one, a huge chunk of potential clients in your area won’t know you exist, even though they are actively looking to buy what you’re selling.

3. A website saves you time in the long-run

If you own and operate a small business, you already know that (excuse the cliche) time is money. By creating a website for your small business where customers can book your services online, you won’t lose any time explaining your rates, hours or location on the phone . Plus, you won’t need to hire someone to do that for you.

4. Your business will grow just by being online

According to BMG Research and Durham University, the vast majority (67 percent) of businesses get new customers as a direct result of launching a website.

In addition, a 2015 global survey conducted by RedShift Research found that 83 percent of small businesses owners with a website thought it gave them a competitive advantage over those without one.

5. It’s not as expensive as you think

If you don’t already have a webpage for your business, the most likely reason is that you suspect commissioning one would prove too costly. But that’s where UENI comes in. We’ll build your business a website, promote it for you, and answer any questions along the way. All that for just £1 a day.

If you own a small business, we care about you reaching your goals — let’s work together to get you there.
