Free tools for small businesses
Invoices, quotes, domain checks and website audits. Free to use, no signup, no card, and no watermark on anything you download.
Invoice Generator
You finished the work and need to get paid.
Bill a customer in a couple of minutes. Add your logo, line items, tax and a discount, then save it as a PDF. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
Create an invoice →Quote and Estimate Generator
A customer asked you how much the job will cost.
Price up a job before you start it, with a deposit and an expiry date. When the customer says yes, turn the quote into an invoice with one click.
Create a quote →Business Name and Domain Checker
You have a name in mind and want to know if you can have it.
See whether the name you want is still free as a .com and five other endings, and get backup ideas when your first pick is gone.
Check a name →Tools for your website and your local search
These three run on our tools site. They check something that already exists rather than making you a document, so they need a moment to go and look.
Website Audit
You have a website and it is not bringing in customers.
Check your site's speed, content, search visibility and whether AI assistants can read it. Takes about a minute.
Audit my site →WordPress Site Audit
You are on WordPress and something feels slow or broken.
A health check built for WordPress: plugins, performance, security signals, and what to fix first.
Check my WordPress site →Local Competitor Radar
You want to know why the shop down the road ranks above you.
See how you compare to nearby competitors on Google, and where they are beating you in local search.
Scan my area →Which tool do you need?
Most small business owners land here with one of four jobs in front of them. Pick the one that sounds like your week.
You are starting something and it needs a name
Use the business name and domain checker. Type the name you have in mind and it tells you whether the .com is still free, along with .net, .org, .co, .biz and .us. If your first pick is gone it suggests variations that might not be. Checking the domain early matters more than people expect: changing a business name after you have signage, a van, and customers who recommend you is expensive and awkward.
A customer has asked what the job will cost
Use the quote and estimate generator. It gives you a document with your line items, your tax, an optional deposit and an expiry date, which protects you when material prices move between quoting and starting. When the customer accepts, one click turns that quote into an invoice with the same numbers, so you are not typing everything twice.
You finished the work and need to get paid
Use the invoice generator. Add your details once and it remembers them for next time, in your browser only. Set a tax rate, add a discount if you promised one, write your payment terms, and download a clean PDF. Invoice numbering increments on its own so you do not accidentally send two invoices with the same number.
You have a website and it is not bringing anything in
Run the website audit. It looks at speed, content, how findable you are in search, and whether AI assistants can actually read your pages, then tells you what to fix first. If you are on WordPress specifically, the WordPress audit digs into plugins and security signals as well.
Why we give these away
UENI builds websites for small businesses, and has done since 2014. The paperwork around running one is a genuine drag on the people we work with: quoting a job on a Sunday evening, chasing an invoice, finding out three weeks in that the name you love was taken years ago. These tools handle small pieces of that, for free, whether or not you ever become a customer.
If the tools solve the paperwork and the website is still the problem, that is the part we do properly.
Frequently asked questions
Are these small business tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use with no signup, no trial, and no card. The invoice and quote generators add no watermark to what you download.
Do I need an account to use them?
No. None of the tools ask you to register. The invoice generator, quote generator and name checker work immediately, and the audits only ask for an email if you want the extended report sent to you.
What happens to the information I type in?
The invoice and quote generators run entirely inside your browser. Your business details, your customer's details and your prices are never sent to us, and we could not see them if we wanted to. The name checker sends only the business name you are checking.
Which tool should I start with?
If you are still setting up, start with the business name and domain checker. If you are trading already, the quote generator helps you win the job and the invoice generator helps you get paid for it. If you have a website that is not working, run the website audit.
Can I use these tools for my limited company or LLC?
Yes. The invoice and quote generators let you set your own business name, address, tax rate and payment terms, so they work for a sole trader, an LLC, a limited company or a partnership.
Do the invoices work outside the United States?
Yes. You can pick US dollars, pounds, euros or Canadian dollars, and the amounts are formatted correctly for that currency. Set your own tax rate for VAT, GST or sales tax.
